(RIO RANCHO, NEW MEXICO) Edit House Productions, LLC of Rio Rancho has been selected to judge the 10th Annual Aurora Awards Competition for 2005. The Aurora Awards are an independent film and video competition for commercials and documentaries.
Edit House Productions, LLC won best of show in last year’s international competition for the production of a local documentary. “It’s an honor to win at this level of competition, but much more of an honor to be recognized as an organization worthy of evaluating others”, Smith said.
Edit House Productions, LLC produces for over two dozen local and national clients on a regular basis. “If your television set is on, our commercials probably are playing!” Smith says.
Edit House Productions, LLC produces long-format educational, training and documentary programs, as well as television commercials for clients such as the New Mexico State Police, Z-Coil Footwear, the Hearing Health Care Centers and several automotive dealerships locally and across the United States.
Ed Smith's experience in television production dates back to 1983. Over the years his television experience has included production management and all phases of production for Fortune 500 Companies such as Pizza Hut, Inc, Rent-A-Center, Thorn EMI, and Cessna Aircraft Corporation-- as well as hundreds of local and regional clients. In addition, Smith has been involved in numerous live televised events for NBC, CBS, ESPN and Creative Sports Marketing. Smith is also an instructor of video production for the City of Rio Rancho’s PEG Channel 51.
